Henrico Police Cold Case Investigators are dedicated to providing closure for the families of every unsolved homicide, traffic fatality and missing person case.
A case becomes “cold” when the original investigator has eliminated any and all potential leads and evidence or needed witnesses do not exist. Cases may include homicide, rape, and missing persons. Investigators review all cold cases by re-examining all evidence, interviewing, and re-interviewing all potential witnesses. Currently, Cold Case Investigators are assigned to over 100 cases.
While the cases below are classified as unsolved, many are in various stages of resolution. Your information may be the critical link to closing the case and providing closure to those impacted.
If you have information or would like an update on your loved one’s case, contact Cold Case Investigators at (804) 501-5304.
You can also submit tips through Crime Stoppers by calling (804) 780-1000 or using the P3 Tips App. Both methods are anonymous and you could receive a cash reward up to $1,000.
