All Programs: Overview

Programs are free and only a small amount require advanced registration. We schedule activities on a quarterly basis. Details about our offerings can be found in a few places including:

We highlight drop-in programs in our monthly newsletter and on social media. While you don’t have to register in advance, you may need to complete an assumption of liability to participate. Our staff will help you with that when you arrive!  

Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, cancellations may occur. When possible, updates are posted on the County website and Recreation & Parks social media sites- Facebook & Instagram.


Registration Details

  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Each individual participant to sign or agree online to our assumption of liability statement. For participants under 18, a parent/legal guardian must sign or agree online.
  • Participants must be the required age by the first day of the program unless otherwise stated. 
  • If a program is full, we recommend you get on the waitlist.
  • Additionally, if you find that you’re unable to attend a program, send a message to the email attached to the program so they can add someone from the waitlist.

Ways to Register

On the first day of registration (for each season), registration begins at 7am online, and also in person at Deep Run and Eastern Henrico Rec Centers.
