Belmont Recreation Center
Welcome to Belmont Recreation Center! A restored home and subsequent country club formally known as Hermitage Country Club, Belmont exerts a formal atmosphere making it an ideal facility to rent for various size gatherings, celebrations, meetings, or retreats. Belmont Recreation Center is nestled within a beautiful golf course, run by First Tee.
A variety of programs and events are offered for both children and adults throughout the year. Belmont welcomes the community to partake in one of many social clubs or regularly scheduled drop-in programs. Or some fun entertainment in Community Game Room.

Group Exercise Classes
New process effective September 1, 2024.
- Fitness classes operate on a first-come, first-served basis. A Group Exercise Access Pass is required to participate in any fitness class. To register for a pass, visit the front desk at the center. You will need to scan in prior to participating in each class.

Drop-In Programs
Belmont has a variety of drop-in activities that take place on a recurring basis. All activities are free but do require an access pass. To receive a pass, please visit the recreation center. If you have any questions, you can email [email protected] or call 804-652-1410 between the hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Open Community Game Room
Community rooms offer a variety of recreational activities and games like video games, Foosball, Skeeball, and more! Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. You are welcome to email or call for more information or additional availability. Please call ahead to ensure room isn’t occupied.

Henrico PAL Program
Henrico PAL Chess Club (All Ages)
Fridays, 6:30-8:30pm.
Learn basic fundamentals of chess, chess etiquette, and more Participants should be at least vaguely familiar with the game of chess, but this is not mandatory. Informal lessons will be provided to those unfamiliar with the game. Registration must be completed (through HPAL) prior to participating.
