Henrico Live

Henrico Live are performances held at the Henrico Theatre, our historic site located in Highland Springs.

There are two seasons of shows:
Regular Series: September-May. Announced in August.
Summer Series: June-August. Announced in May.

Tickets sales usually begin shortly after they’re announced. We sell both season and individual tickets.
Box Office Hours: Mon, Wed, and Fri, 12-4pm.

Henrico Theatre Company

The Henrico Theatre Company is a community theater group that produces plays, musicals, and other theatrical works, serving as the resident company at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. The company is sponsored by Henrico Recreation and Parks. There’s also a Henrico Teen Theatre Company.

Want to Dance, Sing, or Join a Band?

Ballroom Dance Club
USA Dance, Inc. is a volunteer organization committed to promoting ballroom dance as a social event. Information: Phil Sisk, (804) 382-2889.

Colonial Dance Club
Dedicated to perpetuating English country dances that were favorites in both England and Colonial America during the 1700s. Meets every Wednesday* from 7:30-9:30pm at Belmont Recreation Center, 1600 Hilliard Road. Colonial Dance Club Website. Information: Linda Macdonald, (804) 651-9468.

Henrico Pops Chorus
This volunteer group performs a range of song types at public and private events. No experience or audition is required. Rehearsals are held Tuesdays at 7 pm at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, 4006 Hermitage Road. Information: Amy Perdue, [email protected] or Pops Chorus Facebook page.

Henrico Community Band
This is an all-volunteer concert band that performs at various public and private events throughout the year. Rehearsals held on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:30 pm at Lakeside Baptist Church, 7401 Woodman Road. Information: Amy Perdue, [email protected] or Community Band Facebook Group.

Henrico Concert Band
This all-volunteer band rehearses on Mondays from 7:30-9:30 pm at Lakeside Baptist Church, 7401 Woodman Road. The band provides music for many events and organizations throughout the year. Information: Amy Perdue, [email protected] or Concert Band Website

Theatre Groups

Henrico Theatre Company Volunteers
Coordinates activities between the Henrico Division of Recreation and Parks and the volunteers who work with Henrico Theatre Company. For more information, call 501-5138 to be placed on the mailing list.

On-the-Air Radio Players
The group produces live broadcasts of 1940s radio shows and is also interested in developing and performing original works. For more information, call 501-5138 to be placed on the mailing list. You can also visit the OTARP Facebook page.
