Registration opens March 18 for 2026 Henrico Junior 4-H Summer Camp

The Henrico County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension will soon begin accepting registrations for the 2026 Henrico Junior 4-H Camp, which will be held July 27-31 at the Jamestown 4-H Educational Center, near Williamsburg.

Open to children ages 9 through 13, the residential camp provides a fun, safe environment to learn, make friends and discover the outdoors through activities, such as swimming, archery, canoeing, basketball, volleyball, forestry, shooting education, campfires, crafts, marine science and skits.

Extension will begin accepting registrations Wednesday, March 18. Families may preview the online registration link and sign up for a reminder notification ahead of the opening date. A paper registration option is also available for those who prefer to pay by check.

The early rate is $420 per camper through Wednesday, April 22. Starting Thursday, April 23, the rate increases to $450. Registration will close once all spaces are filled.

The camp cost includes meals and lodging for five days and four nights, programs, class materials and a camp T-shirt. Transportation is not provided.

The Jamestown 4-H Educational Center offers woods and open spaces along the James River as well as amenities that include air-conditioned lodges and cabins, archery and rifle ranges, a swimming pool, a river pier and an aquatics resource center.
