Water Resources

Stream Restorations

Streams are vital to our ecosystem’s health and vitality. They provide habitat for wildlife and carry rainwater to our rivers, the Chesapeake Bay and ultimately the Atlantic Ocean. As stewards of the environment, we must occasionally restore streams to maintain our natural resources and enhance the natural world around us. Henrico County has completed several stream restorations and continues the effort with projects to enhance our environment for future generations.
