Climate Action & Adaptation Strategy (CAAS) Open House: Tuckahoe Area Library

Henrico County is developing a Climate Action & Adaptation Strategy (CAAS) to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, build community resilience, and adapt to the effects of climate change. The County has already taken foundational steps toward sustainability, improving energy efficiency in buildings, restoring streams, conserving land, expanding access to active mobility options and public transportation, and deploying solar. The CAAS will serve as a coordinated strategy to identify priority action areas and to track progress on initiatives going forward. The County needs your help to develop the CAAS!

Join us at Tuckahoe Area Library in the main meeting room to learn more about the CAAS and to provide feedback on a variety of topics and initiatives! There will be open house meetings at libraries in each County district; see the upcoming dates below:

• March 3rd from 5:30pm-7:00pm at Fairfield Area Library
• March 12th from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Twin Hickory Area Library
