On August 4, Henrico County announced plans to create a neighborhood park on Patterson Avenue. The wooded 6-acre property is located next to Maybeury Elementary School and the Tuckahoe Family YMCA.

The next step is to create a master plan for the site. To begin that process, the Division of Recreation & Parks will host public meetings to determine what the community would like to see on the site, which could include recreational amenities and connections to Maybeury and the YMCA.

Community Meetings 

The first community meeting was held Wed, Oct 22 at Maybeury Elementary School (901 Maybeury Drive
Henrico, VA 23229). Those in attendance were able to hear more about the park and also share their feedback. Those who were unavailable to attend can submit feedback using the link below.
