Join us on Saturday, August 10, 2024 to meet your new best friend!
Meet the dogs and cats (and guinea pigs!) currently available for adoption without an appointment – if you find a pet you connect with, they could go home with you that day!
All vaccinations and spay/neuters are being sponsored by the William A. Harrison Jr. Foundation, and the Henrico Humane Society is waiving the adoption fees.
There’s always a wide variety of breeds, sizes, age, and personalities among the animals at the shelter, and this is the perfect chance to spend time with all of them without an appointment.
* If the animal you want to adopt has not been spayed or neutered yet, we will schedule that, and then arrange a pick-up date with you to take them home soon after the event.
