An exciting event celebrating all things bikes! Experience our awesome cycling community and opportunities at this free event with cyclocross races, demo bikes, mountain biking trails, a bike beauty pageant, vendors, live music, and food. There’ll also be activities just for kids!

HenBIKEo CX kicks off the Viriginia Cyclocross Series!
Brought to you by THR Cycling.
Races start at 10:00 AM with heats until 3:00 PM.
Registration is required. On site, day of registration is also available.

9:00 AM: A pre-event “crash course” clinic for new racers!
What’s cyclocross? Arguably the most engaging and potentially goofiest form of bike racing, especially from a spectator’s point of view. CX racers make several loops on a winding course with various terrain and obstacles. Since the racers aren’t going all that fast, it’s a tradition for spectators to heckle them and give them “hand ups”, easily grabbable snacks or drinks or money.

RABA Pre-Event Ride
ABC Ride: HenBIKEo Edition (9/12/26)
Richmond Area Bicycling Association’s (RABA) weekly Ashland Breakfast Club (ABC) Ride from RF&P Park will be hosting a special edition for HenBIKEo. RABA will offer several different pace groups, ranging from a new rider’s pace utilizing the Fall Line trail, to a faster group riding on the Ashland roads including US Bike Route 1. All groups are led by experienced cyclists. The ride starts and ends at RF&P Park, so come out and join the ride and then check out the festivities afterwards! Rides roll out promptly at 9:00 AM, so be sure to get there early enough to get your equipment set up and use the restroom.
