Farm Graze event will celebrate agriculture on March 26

Henrico 4-H Youth Development will hold a free community celebration of all aspects of agriculture with the inaugural Farm Graze event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26 at Deep Run Park, 9900 Ridgefield Parkway.

Coordinated with National Agriculture Day (March 23), Farm Graze will feature displays of live animals, including mini-horses, chicks, goats and rabbits; arts and crafts; family resources; prize drawings; and other activities. The first 100 youth attendees will receive a grab bag of special items and resources. All activities will take place near the recreation center.

Henrico 4-H will showcase its programs and opportunities. Exhibitors will include Henrico Extension, Master Gardeners, Henrico County Public Library, Henrico Recreation and Parks, Henricopolis Soil & Water Conservation District, Keep Virginia Beautiful, Keep Henrico Beautiful, Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences, Virginia Agriculture in the Classroom, Fresh Branch Farm and RVA Goats.
