Workers help residents access benefits such as food assistance, medical coverage and financial assistance
The Henrico County Department of Social Services will host a recruitment event Wednesday, Sept. 17 for individuals interested in working as benefits program specialists. The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Henrico Training Center, 7701 E. Parham Road.
The event is free and open to the public. Job seekers are encouraged to bring their résumé. Onsite interviews will be available for those who meet the minimum requirements.
Benefits program specialists work with eligible residents to access benefits that include food assistance, medical coverage and financial assistance.
Social Services is seeking candidates with education and/or experience in the human services field. Ideal applicants should have strong skills in customer service, time management and teamwork. The positions offer a salary range of $55,000 to $70,000.
