The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• Approximately 250-feet of sidewalk along northern side of Eastridge Rd from N. Parham Rd to existing sidewalk in front of Valero gas station
• 40-ft of sidewalk connecting “Cook Out” to the adjacent parcel
• 2 pedestrian signals/crossings 

Estimated Schedule

• Design is complete.
• Right-of-way acquisition is complete.
• Utility relocation is complete.
• Construction to begin in 3rd Quarter, 2026.

Progress to Date

• A public information meeting for this project was held Wednesday, May 8th from 5:30- 7 pm at Ridge Elementary School, 8910 Three Chopt Rd. Henrico, VA 23229. Meeting documents can be found below.
