Project Description
The County of Henrico will be constructing a new bridge for pedestrians and bikes to cross Interstate 95. The new bridge will connect the Garden City Trail and Best Products Reimagined.
Estimated Schedule
- Design is underway
- Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin in 4th Quarter of 2026
- Utility relocation is anticipated to begin in 2026
- Advertisement for construction is anticipated to begin in 2028
- Construction is anticipated to begin in 2029
Progress to Date
A public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the Henrico County North Park Library at 8508 Franconia Road in Henrico, Virginia.
