2025 Henrico Battle of the Badges

Get ready for an epic showdown as our local first responders hit the hardwood! It’s Henrico Police vs. Henrico Fire in a high-octane basketball game where pride, bragging rights, and community spirit are on the line.
Join us Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, for the annual Battle of the Badges at the Henrico Sports & Events Center (1 All Star Boulevard)! Doors open at 5 p.m., with tip-off at 6 p.m.
Help us cheer on the men and women who serve on the front lines! At the same time, drop off new sports gear for our local youth for the Holiday Cheer & Gear Donation Drive going on that night to benefit the Salvation Army Central Virginia. This night is about community, competition and gratitude all served up for one night, and the best part – it’s free!
Santa will be on hand for photos and there will be activities for kids provided by Henrico Recreation and Parks. Learn more here.
