Fairfield meeting Feb. 20 to feature Wolf Creek Cherokee Tribe, Henricopolis

Fairfield District Supervisor Frank J. Thornton will hold a constituent meeting Monday, Feb. 20 to highlight the Wolf Creek Cherokee Tribe and the Henricopolis program.

Thornton will be joined by Chief Terry Price who will discuss the history of the Wolf Creek Cherokee Tribe and a representative of the Henricopolis Soil and Water Conservation District who will highlight the program’s efforts to promote natural resource conservation. The meeting also will provide an overview of events celebrating February as Black History Month.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 N. Laburnum Ave. For information, call (804) 501-4208.
