Henrico to offer free workshop March 4 on outdoor improvements

The Henrico County Department of Community Revitalization will present a free workshop Saturday, March 4 on landscaping and other outdoor improvements that can add value and enjoyment to a home.

The class will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 N. Laburnum Ave. Exhibits, hands-on demonstrations and refreshments will be included.

The workshop will include tips on caring for decks and patios, painting indoor and outdoor spaces and designing a sustainable landscape. The session is the final installment in a workshop series that began in October to help residents maintain and improve their homes.
