Workers would help residents access benefits such as food assistance, medical coverage and financial assistance
Henrico County’s Department of Social Services is hosting a job fair for people interested in becoming eligibility workers. The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23 at Fairfield Area Library, 1401 N. Laburnum Ave.
The job fair aims to connect job seekers with positions that help residents access benefits, including food assistance, medical coverage and financial assistance, while also offering support in navigating county services. The event is free and open to the public.
Attendees will be able to participate in interviews and learn more about Social Services, the positions and Henrico employee benefits.
Social Services is seeking candidates with education and/or experience in the human services field. Ideal applicants should have strong skills in customer service, time management and teamwork. The department is offering a salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 for these positions.
Henrico County provides employees with a range of benefits, including health, dental and life insurance; flexible spending accounts; annual leave and paid holidays; and participation in the Virginia Retirement System.
