Henrico, Hanover and Chesterfield counties and the city of Richmond will present an event Wednesday, Oct. 16 to give businesses, including general contractors, trade partners, suppliers and other stakeholders, an opportunity to learn about procurement opportunities with the local governments.
The 2024 Regional Government Purchasing Expo will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Henrico Sports & Events Center, 1 All Star Boulevard. Registration is required by Tuesday, Oct. 8. The cost to attend is $25.
After a light breakfast at 8:45 a.m., the expo will include a session from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. in which participants will hear from local purchasing directors, learn about upcoming business opportunities and network with buyers and other government representatives. From 1 to 3:30 p.m., a similar session will be held with construction purchasing directors, project managers and buyers.
Representatives of small, women-owned, minority-owned and veteran-owned businesses are encouraged to attend.
