Darbytown Road & Doran Road Roundabout

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• Realign Doran Road to tie into Darbytown across from Henry Ward Blvd. 
• Construct a roundabout at the new Doran Road / Darbytown Road / Henry Ward Blvd intersection. 
• Construct sidewalk along Doran and Darbytown Road.

Estimated Schedule: (Month Year) 

• Design is underway.
• Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin 1st Quarter, 2026.  
• Utility relocation is anticipated to begin 4th Quarter, 2026. 
• Advertisement for construction is scheduled for 2027. 
• Construction is anticipated to begin 2027.
