Maybeury Drive Turn Lane at Patterson Avenue​

The County of Henrico will be constructing the following improvements:  

• Approximately 400 linear feet of a right turn lane to improve access to Patterson Avenue via Maybeury Drive  
• 5-foot-wide sidewalk along the east side of Maybeury Drive between Maybeury Elementary School and Patterson Avenue
• Curb ramps and crosswalks to accommodate pedestrians crossing Patterson Avenue 

Estimated Schedule

• Design is complete. 
• Right-of-way acquisition is not anticipated​ . 
• Utility relocation is complete .​  
• Advertisement for construction is not anticipated ​.  
• Construction is underway.

Construction Update

Detour Information:

Maybeury Drive will close to northbound traffic between Westmoor Drive and Patterson Avenue, beginning July 20th. The closure will be in effect during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays Monday through Friday. The traffic detour is expected to remain in place until August 21st. Motorists are advised to follow posted detours.
