Ridge Road Sidewalk Phase 2

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

  • Approximately 1,800-ft of new sidewalk along the north side of Ridge Road from Glendale Drive to N. Parham Road, and approximately 120-ft of new sidewalk along the south side of Ridge Road from Old Providence Circle to Greene Ridge Road. 
  • Approximately 690-ft of new shared use path along the north side of Ridge Road from Greene Ridge Road to Glendale Drive. 
  • Approximately 20 ADA compliant ramps.

Estimated Schedule: (Month Year) 
  • Design is underway.
  • Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin 2nd Quarter, 2025.
  • Utility relocation is anticipated to begin 2026.
  • Advertisement for construction is anticipated to begin 2026.
  • Construction is anticipated to begin 2027.

A Public Hearing will be held on 5/12/2025, at the Tuckahoe Library (TU Meeting Room), 1901 Starling Drive, Henrico, VA 23229, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
