Ridge Road Sidewalk Phase 2

Magisterial District:   Tuckahoe  

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian safety, access, and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including:

• Approximately 1,800-ft of new sidewalk along the north side of Ridge Road from Glendale Drive to N. Parham Road, and approximately 120-ft of new sidewalk along the south side of Ridge Road from Old Providence Circle to Greene Ridge Road.
• Approximately 690-ft of new shared use path along the north side of Ridge Road from Greene Ridge Road to Glendale Drive.
• Approximately 20 ADA compliant ramps.
• A mini-roundabout at the intersection of Ridge Road and Glendale Drive.

Estimated Schedule:

• Design is underway.
• Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin in 2027.
• Utility relocation is anticipated to begin in 2028.
• Advertisement for construction is anticipated for 2029.
• Construction is anticipated to begin in 2030.

A Public Hearing was held on 5/12/2025, at the Tuckahoe Library (TU Meeting Room), 1901 Starling Drive, Henrico, VA 23229, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
