Magisterial District: Brookland

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed:

Approximately 900 feet of sidewalk along the northern side of Thalbro Street between Staples Mill Road (Route 33) and Maywill Street.
Additional ADA curb ramps and pedestrian crosswalks on the south and west legs at the intersection of Thalbro Street and Maywill Street.

Design is underway.
Right-of-way acquisition is 3rd Quarter, 2024.
Utility relocation is 4th Quarter, 2024.
Advertisement for construction is anticipated for 4th Quarter, 2024.
Construction to begin 2025.
