Virginia Center Common (VCC) Connector Trail

The County of Henrico will be constructing pedestrian improvements for approximately 0.4 miles from along Magnolia Ridge Drive from the intersection of Woodman Road Extended to the intersection of Brook Road. Project improvements include, but are not limited to: 

• Connect a five-foot-wide sidewalk along the north side of Magnolia Ridge Drive to the intersection of Route 1. 
• Construct a 12-foot-wide, two-way bicycle lane with a 3-foot-wide protected buffer adjacent to the sidewalk.  

Estimated Schedule: 

• Design is underway. 
• Right-of-way acquisition is underway.
• Utility relocations have been completed.
• Advertisement for construction is anticipated 4th Quarter, 2025. 
• Construction is anticipated to begin 1st Quarter, 2026.
