Due to the forecast of extreme heat, this event will now begin at 7:00 p.m. (Schedules are also subject to change.)
Safety is our number one priority. If you’re especially sensitive to the heat, including older adults or those with certain medical conditions, please consider whether attending is the right choice for you. We trust you’ll make the decision that’s best for you and your family. To reduce the risk of heat-related illnesses, there will be FREE water stations, additional shade, and cooling tents available.
If you’re joining us, come prepared:
- Bring a refillable water bottle
- Pack a cooling towel
- Bring a handheld fan
- Consider an umbrella for shade
- Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and a visor or hat
- Start hydrating right now and keep drinking water throughout the events!
July 4, 2026, signifies the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence (July 4, 1776), which also marks the 250th birthday of the United States of America. So large a birthday, it could not be contained to one day! We’re having a two-day celebration at two different parks.
Friday, July 3: Dorey Park from 7-10pm
Saturday, July 4: Crump Park from 6-10pm
Please note: These festivities are intended to be welcoming and fun for everyone. Individuals, families and groups are encouraged to attend. All children and teens should remain accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.

- Gates open at 6pm. Free admission & parking.
- 7:00pm: Event Welcome, National Anthem & 5Starr.
- 8:30pm: Plunky & the Oneness.
- 9:45 pm: Fireworks & Laser Light Show Finale.

Know Before You Go & Tips:
It’s OKAY to bring:
- Outside food/ drink
- Blankets/ chairs
- Water
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Comfortable shoes
It’s NOT OKAY to bring:
- Alcohol
- Tents/ large umbrellas
- Large coolers (bigger than 15 quarts)
- Sparklers
- Grills/ tailgating supplies
- Drones
Tips:
-Please carpool, walk or bike, if you’re able.
-We will be directing traffic in and out of the event. Please allow extra time to enter and leave.
-There will be accessible parking spaces available to those with a disabled license plate or placard. Guests will need to walk a short distance to the main event area. Accessible restrooms will be available.
-Lastly, take a group photo before you arrive. If anyone gets separated, it can help staff quickly identify them and reunite you all.
