Volunteer Opportunity: Invasive Species Removal Workday
November 7 | 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Cheswick Park, 1700 Forest Avenue
Crews will be conducting an invasive plant removal workday at Cheswick Park, and they need your help! Volunteers will assist with removing non‑native wisteria, speedwell, and other invasive species that out-compete native plants, disrupt local ecosystems, and impact wildlife habitats.
Volunteer Guidelines:
• Wear long‑sleeve shirts and hard‑soled shoes
• Bring water and a snack
• Be prepared for hands‑on outdoor work
Your support helps protect and restore the park’s natural environment. We hope you can join us!
