The Henrico County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension will hold a seminar Wednesday, April 18 to explain how to create a SMART Lawn.
The SMART Lawns program provides residents with customized plans for growing attractive, healthy lawns based on five steps of care: Soil test, Measure, Aerate, Right fertilizer, and Trouble-free maintenance.
The seminar will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Extension’s demonstration kitchen in the Henrico Human Services Building, 8600 Dixon Powers Drive.
The cost to attend is $10. Participants will receive a rain gauge, turf ruler, coupons for two free soil tests and a 26-page SMART Lawns booklet.
