Henrico County will hold a free event Wednesday, April 22 to give construction firms an opportunity to learn about its procurement process and upcoming construction projects.
The 2026 Construction Meet & Greet, hosted by the Purchasing Division of the Department of Finance, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Deep Run Recreation Center, 9900 Ridgefield Parkway. Check-in will begin at noon. Snacks will be provided.
The event is intended for general contractors, construction management companies, and architecture and engineering firms. Representatives of small, women-owned, minority-owned and veteran-owned businesses are encouraged to attend.
Presenters will include representatives of Purchasing as well as Henrico County Public Schools and the county’s departments of General Services, Fire, Recreation & Parks, Public Works and Public Utilities.
