The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian safety. The following improvements will be constructed, including:

The installation of self-sustaining light fixtures to light the Virginia Capital Trail from the Richmond City limits south for approximately 1,100-ft to Old Delaware Street.

Estimated Schedule:
Design is underway. Right-of-way acquisition is not anticipated. Utility relocation is not anticipated. Advertisement for construction is anticipated to begin in the 3rd Quarter, 2024. Construction is anticipated to begin in the 4th Quarter, 2024.
