County-wide Pedestrian Signals

Estimated End Date: 1st Quarter, 2026
Magisterial District: Three Chopt Tuckahoe
The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including:
- Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons (PHB) at different locations throughout the County, including, but not limited to, intersections at Pump Road and Old Prescott Road, Pump Road and Carisbrook Drive, and Twin Hickory Road and Hickory Bend Road.

Estimated Schedules:
Pump Road and Old Prescott Road
- Design began Jan-2023.
- Right-of-way acquisition began 2nd Quarter, 2024.
- Utility relocation is complete.
- Construction is underway.
- The signal is anticipated to be fully operational January 2026.
Twin Hickory Road and Hickory Bend Drive
- Design began Jan- 2023.
- Right-of-way acquisition began 3rd Quarter, 2024.
- Utility relocation is completed.
- Construction is underway.
- The signal is anticipated to be fully operational January 2026.
Pump Road and Carisbrook Drive
- Design is anticipated to begin August- 2024
- Right of way acquisition is anticipated 1st Quarter, 2026.
- Utility relocation is anticipated 2nd Quarter, 2026.
- Construction is anticipated 3rd Quarter, 2026.
