The County of Henrico is evaluating potential safety improvements to Horsepen Road / Glenside Drive from Forest Avenue to Patterson Avenue. 

A virtual presentation with possible solutions was presented in February 2022. The online comment period was available until February 25, 2022. The below linked public feedback summary indicates those in favor of certain improvements. Next steps include applying for various grant funding for the safety improvements.  Additional public outreach will occur in the future as projects progress.

Progress to Date

• July 2021 a virtual presentation was provided on whether safety, pedestrian and/or bicycle improvements are needed.  Initial online comment period was available until August 6, 2021.  The user feedback showed that over 87% of the respondents felt the current roadway did not adequately address safety and operational concerns
