Rocky Branch Trunk Sewer & Abelia Road Sewer Replacement

This project will abandon existing 8-inch through 18-inch sanitary sewer main and install approximately 7,800 linear feet of new 8-inch, 12-inch and 20-inch diameter sanitary sewer main and replace approximately 30 sewer service connections.  The enclosed map shows the location of the proposed work. Our Department, the Henrico County Department of Public Utilities (DPU), will manage this project.  We have hired a contractor, Kelvic Construction Company, Inc., to complete the project.  The work will begin the week of April 19, 2021, with normal working hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.  Completion of all work is anticipated by August 2022, weather permitting
