Shrader Road Sidewalk

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• ​​Approximately 2,000-ft of sidewalk along both sides of Shrader Road from E. Parham Rd to Eunice Dr. 
• ​Associated ADA ramps across private entrances. 
• Striped pedestrian crossing at Eunice Drive.​ 

Estimated Schedule: (Month Year) 

• Design is underway. 
• Right-of-way acquisition is underway. 
• Utility relocation is anticipated to begin ​1st quarter, 2026. 
• Advertisement for construction is anticipated to begin in the 1st quarter, 2026. 
• Construction is anticipated to begin ​in the 2nd quarter of 2026​.
