Project Description:

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including:

• Continuous sidewalk along northbound Staples Mill Road from Meadow Pond Lane to existing sidewalk near the Britlyn North Subdivision.
• Continuous sidewalk along northbound Staples Mill Road from Gracie Lane connecting to the existing sidewalk at the Latter-Day Saints Temple Property.

Estimated Schedule:

• Design is anticipated to begin 3rd Quarter, 2026.
• Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin in 2028.
• Utility relocation is anticipated to begin in 2028.
• Advertisement for construction is anticipated for 2028.
• Construction is anticipated to begin in 2028.
