Project Description:
The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including:
- Continuous sidewalk along northbound Staples Mill Road from Meadow Pond Lane to existing sidewalk near the Britlyn North Subdivision.
- Continuous sidewalk along northbound Staples Mill Road from Gracie Lane connecting to the existing sidewalk at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints property.
Estimated Schedule:
- Design is anticipated to begin 3rd Quarter, 2026.
- Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin in 2028.
- Utility relocation is anticipated to begin in 2028.
- Advertisement for construction is anticipated to begin in 2029.
- Construction is anticipated to begin in 2029.
