Magisterial District:   Brookland   Three Chopt  

 The County of Henrico will be constructing improvements for pedestrian safety and accessibility as well as transit access along W. Broad Street between Glenside Drive and Parham Road. The following improvements will be constructed, including:  

• ​​Sidewalk facilities, where currently not installed, on both sides of W. Broad Street  
• ​Curb ramps and crosswalks 
• Transit stop amenities 
• Intersection modifications 
• Traffic and pedestrian signals 

Estimated Schedule: (Month Year) 

• Design is underway  
• Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin ​ 3rd Quarter, 2026​  
• Utility relocation is anticipated to begin ​ 2027 ​  
• Advertisement for construction is anticipated 2028 ​  
• Construction is anticipated to begin 2028
