  • The County of Henrico is analyzing the construction of  a raised directional concrete island at the intersection of Parham Rd and Mayland Drive to eliminate the thru movement at the intersection. The goal is to increase operations and safety at the intersection. 

Estimated Schedule: (Month Year) 
  • Design is underway.
  • Right-of-way acquisition completed December 2024.
  • Utility relocation is anticipated in 2nd Quarter, 2025.
  • Project advertisement is not anticipated.
  • Construction is TBD.

Progress to Date

A public information meeting was held on March 10, 2025, at the Tuckahoe Library from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Any design changes will be determined based on public feedback and safety considerations. Public comment closes March 31, 2025.
