Mayland Drive and Parham Road Thru-Cut

The County of Henrico analyzed potential improvements to increase operations and safety at the intersection of Parham Road and Mayland Drive. A proposal to eliminate the thru movement at the intersection with the construction of a raised directional concrete island has been suspended following public feedback.

Progress to Date

•  A public information meeting was held on March 10, 2025, at the Tuckahoe Library from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Meeting documents can be found below, including a summary of the feedback provided by the public. Public feedback has prompted the suspension of design efforts for the presented thru-cut proposal. Efforts to mitigate operational and safety considerations at the intersection will continue, and additional public outreach will occur as potential projects progress.
