But how much of the movie reflects the historical record? Join a local history expert as we separate fact from fiction, explore the real events behind the Salem witch trials, and briefly examine Virginia’s own history of witchcraft accusations. This program is geared towards teens and adults. Blend storytelling, cultural insight, and a spooky glow as a hauntingly memorable way to celebrate German History Month. Stroll through the park by lantern light as we weave together German heritage and a touch of Halloween. At stops along the path, you’ll hear selections from the original and darker version of Brothers Grimm fairy tales, those early 19th-century stories full of chilling twists and German folklore. TR Paint Your Pumpkin

Come to Deep Run for some spooky fun! From 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM, show up wearing a costume to get candy from Henrico County vehicles and walk the Spooky Trail (if you dare).
