Permit – Adult Business

In PersonHenrico County Code 15-182 requires every person operating, or desiring to operate, an adult business to obtain a permit from the Chief of Police.
An adult business includes any adult bookstore, adult video store, adult model studio, adult motel, adult movie theater, adult nightclub, adult store, business providing adult entertainment, or any other establishment that regularly exploits an interest in matters relating to specified sexual activities or specified anatomical areas or regularly features live entertainment intended for the sexual stimulation or titillation of patrons (Henrico Code 15- 181).
For a corporation, partnership, or other legal entity, the term “applicant” includes each officer, director, partner, or principal of the entity and the

Application fee: $200 (paid in advance)
Renewal fee: $100 (paid in advance)
Payment may be made in cash, or by check or money order made payable to the County of Henrico.
