IN RE: The Adoption Of Kamari Julian Allan Christian, a minor male child born November 23, 2018, to be known as Ari Jackson Russell, by Jewel Marie Angella Russell
After review of the Affidavit and Petition for Order of Publication filed by counsel for Petitioner, the purpose of which is to effectuate an adoption; and pursuant to Virginia Code 8.01-316, the Court finds there is sufficient grounds for causing service of process by publication on the birth mother, Amanda Ann Christian.
Therefore, it is ORDERED that Amanda Ann Christian, the birth mother of Kamari Julian Allan Christian born November 23, 2018, now appear at the above-named Court to protect her interests in the Circuit Court of Henrico County at 9:30 a.m. on December 4, 2026. Should the birth mother not appear, then she is hereby notified that her parental rights will be terminated. Moreover, should she appear, then Petitioner may proceed to terminate the birth mother’s rights pursuant to Virginia Code 563.2-1202(H) (abandonment) and/or pursuant to Virginia Code 563.2-1205 (objecting contrary to the child’s best interests).
It is further ORDERED that this Order of Publication be published via electronic means on the Court’s website system, for four successive weeks and a copy to be posted at the front door of this Courthouse. The Court dispenses of publication in the newspaper.
