The object of this suit is for the Plaintiff to obtain a divorce from the bond of matrimony from the Defendant, on the grounds of having lived separate and apart without any cohabitation and without interruption for more than one year with the intent to remain separate and apart permanently.
WHEREFORE the Court therefore ORDERS that the Defendant, John P. Garner, shall appear before this Court on or before 10/23/2026 at 9:00am, a date at least fifty (50) days after the entry of this Order, to protect his interest herein.
And it is further ORDERED that, pursuant to Virginia Code 58.01-317, this Order be electronically published once a week for four successive weeks on the Henrico County Website in lieu of publication in a newspaper. The Clerk of this Court shall post this Order at the front door of the courthouse and shall mail a copy of this Order to the Defendant at his last known address, P.O. Box 7585 Columbia, SC 29202.
The Clerk of this Court shall further cause copies of this Order to be so electronically posted, mailed to the Defendant’s last known address, and mailed to the attorney of records in this matter. Upon completion of such electronic publication, the Clerk of this Court shall file a certificate with papers of this cause that the requirements of Virginia Code 58.01-317 have been so complied.
And this Order is hereby ENTERED, and the matters continued on the Court’s active docket for further proceedings.
