Varina District Supervisor Tyrone E. Nelson will host two Community Conversations meetings May 18-19 to share details of Henrico County’s budget for fiscal year 2026-27 and programs available this summer from Recreation & Parks. Henrico County Board of Supervisors Chair and Fairfield District Supervisor Roscoe D. Cooper III will host a Fairfield Forum meeting Thursday, April 9, featuring U.S. Rep. Jennifer McClellan, 4th District. The meeting also will include an overview of Henrico’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2026-27 and updates from Henrico County Public Schools. March 24 Board meeting recap: Supervisors hold public hearing on budget, invite additional input

The Henrico County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing on the proposed $1.4 billion budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year on Tuesday, March 24, prior to its regular meeting. Supervisor Roscoe D. Cooper III will host a Fairfield Forum on Thursday December 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 N. Laburnum Avenue

Fairfield Forum on Dec. 18 to focus on holiday safety and winter activities

 The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 N. Laburnum Ave. The public may attend in-person or participate remotely.

Representatives from several agencies, including the Fire, Police, and Recreation & Parks divisions and Henrico County Public Library, will give presentations and answer questions. Varina meetings in October to highlight proposed Prime Agriculture/Rural Conservation land-use designation, New Market Heights Trail

Varina District Supervisor Tyrone E. Nelson will host the meetings Oct. 20, 23 and 27 to discuss a proposed land-use designation to help preserve farmland and other rural properties in Henrico County. The Prime Agriculture/Rural Conservation category is being considered as part of the county’s 2045 comprehensive plan.
