Woodland Cemetery Volunteer Day
Henrico County Oak CONNECT after school program for youth ages 1st – 8th grades are in need of support for elementary age youth. The program meets Mon – Fri 2:30 -5:30pm. If you are interested please email, [email protected].

Henrico Heart of Service Awards
Henrico’s Outreach & Engagement Agency is proud to launch the inaugural Henrico Heart of Service Awards to celebrate outstanding volunteer service. These awards honor individuals and groups who make a meaningful impact in our community through their dedication to helping others. Know someone who deserves recognition? Nominate them today!
Nomination Deadline:
Friday, April 25, 2025, by 5 p.m.
Nomination Categories:
One winner will be selected from each of the following categories:
- Youth (aged 12 and under)
- Teen (aged 13-17)
- Adult (aged 18-59)
- Senior (60+)
- Youth Group (two or more volunteers under age 18)
- Group (two or more volunteers, no age restrictions)
- Non-Profit Organization (business, faith-based, etc.)
- Henrico County Business (for-profit)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Nominees must be residents of Henrico County.
- Nominated organizations (non-profit or for-profit) must either be located in Henrico County or provide services that benefit Henrico County residents.
- Nominators must inform nominees of their nomination prior to submission.
- All entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025. No exceptions.
Award Ceremony:
Award recipients will be honored at a special ceremony on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Board Room at the Western Government Center’s Administration Building, 4301 East Parham Road.
