The Department of Public Utilities’ Solid Waste Division offers County residents the opportunity to dispose of used motor oil, old gas, antifreeze and oil-based paints & solvents. Collection of these items occur at the public use areas located at 10600 Fords Country Lane and 2075 Charles City Road. Disposal of these items are FREE!
Since 2015, our Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Program collected 246,128 gallons of used motor oil and antifreeze and 47,844 gallons of oil based paints and solvents.
