Statement from Henrico County on Richmond’s water plant operations

County officials learned from state agencies late Sunday that unknown amounts of additional fluoride were introduced to the city’s drinking water last Wednesday. Henrico is working with state agencies, the city and other localities to more fully understand what occurred and how water customers throughout the region may have been impacted. Sales begin under Henrico program to promote affordable homeownership

Three new townhomes off Gayton Road have been sold to first-time homebuyers

Discovery Ridge, a community of two dozen townhomes at Gayton Road and Lauderdale Drive, touts its "prime location" near Short Pump and access to choice schools and parks. Each home is three stories, with three bedrooms, two full baths, two half-baths and a one-car garage.

Tuckahoe Creek Park expansion planned on newly donated land

The next phase of Tuckahoe Creek Park is getting ready to move forward, thanks in large part to a local community partner. The Wilton Companies, a local business with deep roots in Tuckahoe, is donating roughly 21 acres of land just north of Patterson Avenue to expand the park. This property connects to the existing Tuckahoe Creek Park and will allow visitors to enjoy more of the natural beauty of the creek.
