Henrico Social Services to host Sept. 17 recruitment event for benefits program specialists

Workers help residents access benefits such as food assistance, medical coverage and financial assistance

The Henrico County Department of Social Services will host a recruitment event Wednesday, Sept. 17 for individuals interested in working as benefits program specialists. The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Henrico Training Center, 7701 E. Parham Road.

Henrico announces park plans in Tuckahoe District

Applause filled the air as Tuckahoe District Supervisor Jody K. Rogish announced Henrico County’s plans to create a neighborhood park on a wooded 6-acre property along Patterson Avenue by Maybeury Elementary School and the Tuckahoe Family YMCA.
