The Court Evaluation Unit conducts forensic mental health evaluations as ordered by the court. In addition, the court evaluation unit coordinates and provides outpatient treatment services focused on restoring the competency to stand trial for incompetent defendants

Jail Mental Health and Substance Use Services
The jail-based programs provide mental health and substance use treatment services as well as case management to inmates housed at both Henrico County jail facilities (Jail West and Jail East). Services include assessments, crisis intervention and stabilization, medication management, diversion programs, forensic discharge services, and more.
